BUILDING A CIRCULAR ECONOMY IN SEATTLE: WMBE WORKSHOPS
This micro-grant, funded by Seattle Public Utilities, aims to pilot circular economy solutions for Seattle-based Women and Minority Owned Business Enterprises (WMBEs.)
Selected businesses will receive:
(Optional) Baseline Waste Assessment via 1:1 Coaching by certified Zero Waste Advisor Moji Igun of Blue Daisi Consulting.
A pre-workshop assessment.
An interactive workshop that frames circular economy practices as both a climate solution and business opportunity, individualized post-workshop coaching.
Up to $1,000 to prototype or implement circular economy projects within your business operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
To apply, fill out the form below by Wednesday, March 25th, 2026. The application consists of collecting basic contact information and answering preliminary questions about your business’ sustainability practices.
Your business must qualify as a Woman Owned Business
Your business must qualify as a Minority Owned Business
Priority will be given to Businesses in the Lake City, Little Saigon, Rainier Beach, and South Park neighborhoods
A willingness to have a pre-workshop waste audit
A willingness to attend a 90-minute Circular Economy Workshop in May 2026

Absolutely! If selected, your business will have the opportunity to take a Baseline Waste Assessment with certified Zero Waste Advisor and Blue Daisi founder, Moji Igun. Through 1:1 coaching, the Blue Daisi team will help you identify areas of your business that can be made more sustainable. We’re happy to help you brainstorm and develop your circular economy project idea!
