Moji has been supporting us since 2021 in our pilot project based on the circular economy that we are developing in the South Park community. Although this project will allow us to recycle organic waste, our community mentions that it is more important to reduce and reuse organic waste. That is why Blue Daisi Consulting developed 4 hours of training so that our Duwamish Valley community knows the criteria and advice on how to reduce and reuse organic waste in homes. These recommendations will be tested in 35 residences where after 7 months of monitoring allow us to reduce at least 30% of their originally produced waste.

I think your keynote message was exactly what so many of us needed to hear – take care of ourselves so we can continue to bring our best to our important work and reconnect with nature as part of that self-care (and so we remember what we’re working
so hard to protect!). It really seemed to resonate with the attendees and folks shared how they took a walk, did the
breathing exercise, and thought about their trash during the next two days of the workshop.
